Koç University’s computer labs are open 24 hours every day, and are available for classes and self-study. Support for the computers and audiovisual equipment at the labs is provided by the IT department.
A Koç University account is needed to access the computers.
The lab computers do not retain data. Every time the computer is turned off or you log out of your account, all data will be deleted.
Please save your work on your own home folder or an external storage device.
You can contact the IT-SP (IT Service Partner) office for assistance with your personal devices (computers and computer peripherals, tablets and phones).
You can reach the IT-SP office at the 4455 extension (dial 0212 338 1000 first if outside the campus) or by sending e-mail to email@example.com describing the subject you need assistance with.
Approximately 120 computers are available for public use 24 hours every day in common areas throughout Koç University. KU NetID is required to use the public computers.
Public computers are available at the Library, Student Center Floor -1 and Dormitory lounges. Kiosks are available at the entrance of Faculty buildings
Public computers at the Library and Student Center Floor -1 are virtual computers. The virtual computers have been mounted behind transparent screens. USB and microphone ports are available on the computers.

Koç University has more than 100 classrooms, and technical support for the classrooms is provided by the IT department.
Audio equipment and data projectors are installed in every classroom. Overhead projectors are available on request.

Koç University provides approximately 250 printers in its campuses, 180 of which are network printers.
Koç University staff and students can use these printers with their KU NetID accounts.
You can use the printers via the nearest public computer or by setting them up on your own computer.
A total amount of 35TL page printer quota is added to each student account by IT at the beginning of each term
Students who have run out of printer quota should apply to IT with a bank receipt indicating the payment.
IT doesn’t support photocopiers, if you’re having trouble with them you should contact to firstname.lastname@example.org.
