  • Koç University Information Technology (KU IT) is looking for ambitious students to join us as a Product Owner Intern, or Software Developer Intern to take part in our scrum teams developing Koç University’s next generation digital platform, KUHub (https://kuhub.ku.edu.tr).
  • We use the most recent technologies and cloud-native architecture to provide a robust, secure, and resilient foundation that can scale to meet our ever-increasing digital needs of our institution for years to come. We follow an agile methodology to develop product while using DevOps techniques and tools to deliver and operate the apps. We leverage open-source tools and frameworks heavily as and when it makes sense.
  • As an intern, you will be matched to a lead/manager and a mentor and take part in a scrum team. You will have the opportunity to influence the evolution of KUHub and participate in a major product development project in a real-world setting early in your career. Your design, code, test, analysis, problem-solving and other relevant skills will contribute to solving many challenges and delivering new features.

  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as C# or Python including object-oriented design.
  • Experience building software applications through internships, course projects, hackathons or personal projects preferred.

Koç University HPC System Administrator Intern(Remote/Hybrid)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of high-performance computing (HPC) systems.
  • Analyzing and improving system performance.
  • Implementing backup and data security strategies.

UX & UI Designer Intern (Remote/Hybrid)

Purpose of this position:

Creating the necessary visual assets for the university and overseeing the User Experience (UX) journey for applications and processes.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Producing digital and printed visual content, including interfaces, banners, posters, icons, and more, required for the university’s various media platforms and channels such as websites, mobile applications, and social media accounts.
  • Creating sketches, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes required in the process of transforming an idea into a product under development.
  • Enhancing both existing and upcoming processes, as well as application flows (both online and offline), within the context of user experience (UX) and providing innovative solutions.
